I'd say it only became a serious thing, I'd say in the last 5 years, I took it a lot more seriously. Mo: It really varies because everyone has their favourite but I suppose it's gotta be the geezer. With great power comes great responsibility. Mo: I guess having this opportunity really. Were you two already friends before this? You won't sit down and watch the same thing you watched the week before, it's always going to be different.
Mo: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm a good cook man. Mo: There's going to be loads of elements but yeah there's going to be cookery. It was kind of a realisation at how far my material had gone. Mo, you've enjoyed a pretty astonishing year - it's not much more than 12 months ago that you were selling jeans in Covent Garden, is that right? Mo: Yeah, so I've done comedy for quite a while now. Yeah and travelled a bit more. There are times I've pinched myself you know. Will you be picking up a saucepan? It's weird, when you start out, it's quite hard to say you're a comedian. Mo: Yeah but then there's times in the show where we talk about real world subjects, you know. I was still working in retail that was my last retail job I had.
We're gonna be showing people how to cook when you've only got £40 to last you the month. This series is going to be a real treat. Are you a good cook? But yeah, it's cool from anyone really like when going into my local shop and they quote something, it's like, oh rah this is really blessed and beautiful feeling. But I'm lucky; I've been raised with the right morals. If I wasn't on it, I'd be watching it so to be part of it, yeah I feel really excited man that people are finally going to see this project that's been in the works for a long time.
What's been your most successful online character or sketch? I kinda started it as just a bit of a hobby as a 19 year-old, you know. The network revealed its latest slate of youth-skewing shows at the. Filmed in front of a studio audience, the show will launch in 2019 in a 10pm slot. Mo, how much of your role is going to be keeping Narstie in check? Obviously we're going to talk about Love Island but then it's that kind of show, you never know what you're going to tune in to. So what would you say was the defining moment from retail to entering the entertainment industry? The first episode of The Big Narstie Show was broadcast in December, 2018. Yeah, it's definitely gonna have the nation talking, you know. Mo: Yeah, we knew each other.
