Last updated Thursday 08 June 2017. The campsites offer a sense of serenity and seclusion. So everyone knows each other well. We also have 8 rustic cabin rentals of different sizes depending on your likes and needs. It's nestled back in some trees and is quiet. We opted for the deluxe spot on the creek, sitting in our recliners listening to the running water from the creek. The park is very clean, appears to be quite new, has a fantastic location, is easy to find and navigate through, and has a nice list of amenities.
Will definitely stay again if in the area. The turn at light coming out of Pigeon Forge can be tricky and tight with heavy traffic. You can rent a-frame, log, and camping cabins from the park. The resort is also only minutes away from Townsend and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park as well. The 1 Pigeon Forge Campground for Family Fun! Clabough's Campground sits smack dab in the middle of Pigeon Forge.
It is much easier than turning out of Mill Creek Road. We stayed here back in August 2018 for 3 days and was just amazed at the campground. The pool was small and the hot tub was tiny. The campground is clean and well maintained. You are responsible for payment for each day you reserve during the Holiday Weekend.
The campground is beautiful, with large, shaded campsites none of the other campgrounds around can offer that. The grounds were neat and clean! If you're pulling a toad as we were, you need to disconnect before leaving check in because all sites are back ins. Most of the sites are wooded. The campground's lots are shaded, and come with access to swimming pools, hot showers, a game room, laundry facilities, an ice machine, a playground and even a wood carver who lives onsite. The people in the office were nice. It is always comfortable, clean, quiet and spacious.
I ordered pizza from here. The only downside was the pools were small but realistically we were not able to use them as it was too cool outside and likely is for most of the year so it was easy to overlook. Overall it is my favorite in Pigeon Forge. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Family owned and operated since 1978, you will be welcomed by a friendly and courteous staff, eager to make your visit a happy one that you will remember for years. Fire rings and picnic tables are included on each campsite. It's the best campground near The Smokies! From our heated pool and new bathhouse to our tennis courts and unbeatable location Camp Riverslanding is the premier campground in Pigeon Forge.
He also trimmed a tree at the back of the site that were blocking our rig. The trolley even drops off at Kroger in case you need something from the store before heading back to camp. But aside from that, I'd visit this place again. Sites are distanced from each other, which does a great job of creating a sense of seclusion and privacy. I can't recommend this place enough! The owners are happy to welcome big rigs, and have the facilities to back it up.
No fire pits and really didn't have the feel of a camp ground in the mountains. The bathrooms are brand new, a laundry room is also in the same building. We've been several times and stayed on both the Cove Creek And Walden Creek side. Two trails leading into the Great Smoky Mountain National Park is just a short walk away from the resort. Other campers were helpful with offering a helping hand to fix the truck, to offering rides into town. Trollies beat driving but expect to wait.
The spaces are nice and big. I like small campgrounds and this one fits the bill. The staff was great and very accommodating! Patricia and Bobby Fountain Spent a week at Up The Creek, what an amazing camp ground, the staff works hard and keeps the grounds looking amazing. There are no tents or seasonals, so its clean and not junky. The resort serves as a gateway to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and is also minutes away from adventures in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Knoxville. This is the best site in our opinion. The options here are endless! Eagle's Nest is home to 200 campsites in total.
At Camp RiversLanding we want to make choosing your Pigeon Forge campground an easy one! Site 10 was really nice, of course all sites have concrete pads and patio's as well as asphalt roads throughout. You can't go wrong with this campsite. When they tell you the sites are spacious, they are accurate. All of the sites are full hook up at this park, which offers a range of amenities such as a swimming pool, playground, disc golf, a horseshoe area, as well as gated access and security cameras for the peace of mind of its visitors. Kids enjoyed the creek and I enjoyed not having to run them to a bounce pad, pool or playground.
If you have slides on both sides you may have issues. Make reservations online at Clabough's Campground's website. Easy in and easy out for my 36 ft 5th wheel. The owners came by every morning with a blower and would clean up all the leaves, etc from your concrete pad, which was very thoughtful. The campgrounds also have cabins for rent of different sizes, bring your own linen.
