Both companies Google and Huawei have confirmed that they are working on this issue. Your play services will not automatically update. I used the Play Services Information app and went into App info, the version that shows up version 12. Then once all the app complain they cant work with the old version, update the version. Worked for me to resolve this issue.
I did not make anything really, all the matters I read and tried as uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing cache,data, accounts, etc. Even location-based services and gaming also required it. It brings in dozens of libraries, bloating your application. This is where manually updating apps can be more practical. Please help this is really urgent.

I think it's a matter of finding a happy medium. So when you access any Google stuff the Google Play Services are used right. If you check I'm sure you'll find the current version you run is probably a few versions older. I tried the Cache and Data clearing method and they did not work. When I clear cache and clear all data under manage space for Google Play Services under settings - apps the error goes away but after sometime or may be after restart it comes back.

The problem is in the updates. The app will be updated to the latest version automatically via the Google Play Store. So glad it's back in working order. I went back in and reinstalled the update and it stopped working again so that tells me it's in the update. I have tried clearing cache but idk how to remove my account from the tablet.
